Dr. Craig Rousso, D.M.D.

Dr. Rousso leads the Mountain Brook Smiles team. A Birmingham native, Dr. Rousso graduated from dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham after completing his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He has completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency and received extensive training in surgical and restorative prosthetic dentistry. Dr. Rousso is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Following his residency, Dr. Rousso returned to Birmingham to establish a practice and help his hometown smile brighter. In 2020, Dr. Rousso and Dr. Wes Samford transitioned the leadership of Mountain Brook Smiles to allow Dr. Rousso to continue the practice’s legacy of superior dentistry and personal care.

Dr. Rousso loves the opportunity dentistry has provided him to better the lives and smiles of all his patients. He appreciates being part of the community by helping patients achieve the smile they desire.

Dr. Rousso and his wife, Katie, reside in the downtown Birmingham area. They recently welcomed a new addition to their family with their daughter, Hannah. In his free time, Dr. Rousso loves to explore the outdoors and is an avid car enthusiast. He and his family enjoy visiting local car shows and weekend hiking trips with their dog, Cota.
